History of the EGCC

The Eastern Goldfields Cycle Club (EGCC) has its origins back in the late 1920`s when mining was booming on the Goldfields. Over the years the club boasted a membership in excess of 100 racing members. The membership reflected both the economic times on the Goldfields, good and bad, and included the exodus of Goldfields' men to armed service in World War II.
